About these terms

These terms apply between you and Global Max, 61 New Street, near Subra Towers, Karur 639001, Tamil Nadu, India. Anything we agree with you in writing for a particular shipment (including on WhatsApp or email) applies together with these terms. Read them with our shipping and prohibited items policy and our privacy policy.

Using this website

  • The website gives general information about our services. We try to keep it accurate, but it may change without notice.
  • Please don't misuse the site, send false information through its forms, or try to break or overload it.
  • The Global Max name, logo, text and design belong to us. Partner names and logos belong to their owners and are shown to tell you which carriers we use.
  • Links to other websites (such as WhatsApp, Google Maps or carrier tracking pages) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Quotes and charges

  • The website does not show prices. A quote is confirmed only when our team sends it to you on WhatsApp, by phone or by email.
  • Charges are based on the chargeable weight: the higher of the actual weight and the volumetric weight. For international shipments the volumetric weight is length × width × height in cm ÷ 5000. The weight and size we measure at our counter are final.
  • Carriers may add charges that depend on the shipment, such as fuel surcharges, remote area delivery or extra handling. We tell you about known extra charges before you confirm.
  • Payment is made as agreed when you book. We do not take payments on this website.

What you are responsible for

  • describing the contents and their value correctly, and giving correct sender and receiver details;
  • not sending prohibited or restricted items (see the shipping policy);
  • packing the shipment safely, or asking us to pack it;
  • providing the documents customs and carriers require, such as an invoice and identity or business documents.

If a shipment is delayed, held, returned or destroyed because of wrong information, missing documents or prohibited contents, you are responsible for the costs, including return charges, fines and storage.

Carriage by our partner carriers

We book your shipment with a partner carrier (such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, Aramex, Linex Solutions, ST Courier, DTDC, Blue Dart, Runway or MML) that suits the route. The carrier's own conditions of carriage apply to the transport of your shipment, including its rules on what can be carried and its limits of liability. We will tell you which carrier carries your shipment and give you its tracking number (AWB).

Transit times and delays

The transit times on this website are typical times in working days, not guarantees. Customs checks, weather, flight availability, strikes, holidays, wrong addresses and other things outside our control can cause delays.

Customs, duties and taxes

Shipments crossing borders go through customs in India and in the destination country. Import duties and taxes in the destination country are normally paid by the receiver, unless we agree in writing that you pay them. Customs authorities may open, inspect, hold or refuse any shipment.

Loss, damage and claims

  • Check your shipment on delivery. If it is damaged or something is missing, tell us straight away and keep the packaging and contents for inspection.
  • We help you make a claim with the carrier. Claims are decided under the carrier's conditions of carriage, including its time limits for reporting a claim.
  • For valuable items, ask us about declared value or insurance options before you send.

Limits of our liability

Unless we agree otherwise in writing before dispatch, compensation for loss of or damage to a shipment is limited to what the carrier pays under its conditions of carriage. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profit or business, or for delays caused by things outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Karur, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute.
