How sending works

  1. Tell us what you are sending, its weight or box size, and where it is going. We reply with the price and the best carrier for the route.
  2. Bring the parcel to our office on New Street, Karur, or book a pickup. Outside Karur, use our outstation pickup service.
  3. We check, weigh and, if you like, pack your parcel, and prepare the paperwork.
  4. We hand it to the carrier and send you the tracking number.

Weight and size

You pay for the chargeable weight: the higher of the actual weight and the volumetric weight. For international shipments the volumetric weight is length × width × height in cm ÷ 5000. Try our volumetric calculator to see how box size affects the price.

Packing

Use a strong box with padding so the contents cannot move, and seal it well. Liquids must be sealed and bagged. We can pack your shipment for you; ask us when you book.

Items we cannot send

These items are not accepted by our carriers or are banned by law:

  • explosives, fireworks, ammunition and weapons, including replicas
  • flammable liquids, gases and solids (petrol, kerosene, gas cylinders, lighters, matches)
  • corrosive, toxic, poisonous or radioactive substances
  • narcotics, illegal drugs and psychotropic substances
  • cash, coins, cheques, bullion, precious stones and other valuables of that kind
  • live animals, plants and seeds, unless specially arranged
  • human or animal remains
  • counterfeit or pirated goods, and items that break intellectual property rules
  • obscene or indecent material
  • anything banned by Indian law or by the destination country

Items we check first

These can sometimes be sent, depending on the carrier and the destination. Tell us before you pack:

  • batteries, power banks and electronics with batteries
  • perfumes, nail polish, aerosols and anything containing alcohol
  • medicines and supplements (a prescription may be needed)
  • food items (see below)
  • high-value goods such as jewellery, watches and phones
  • commercial goods that need export paperwork (invoice, IEC, GST details)

Food, sweets and medicines

Sealed, non-perishable food such as sweets, snacks and spices can go to most countries when it is packed properly. Some countries (for example Australia, the USA and Canada) have strict rules on certain foods, and fresh, frozen or home-cooked perishable food usually cannot be sent. Tell us exactly what you are sending and we'll check the rules for the destination.

Tracking

Every shipment gets a tracking number (AWB). Type it into any Track box on this website, or send it to us on WhatsApp, and we'll share the latest status.

Cancellations and refunds

  • You can cancel a booking before your parcel is handed to the carrier. Tell us as early as possible on WhatsApp or by phone.
  • If you cancel before hand-over, we refund what you paid, less any costs already incurred for your shipment (such as packing materials, pickup or paperwork). Once the parcel is with the carrier, the shipment generally cannot be cancelled, and any return is charged as a new shipment.
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method, or as agreed with you.
  • Customs duties, taxes and charges paid to authorities cannot be refunded by us.
